I was in need of an ophthalmologist and searched for someone nearby. The online booking process was very easy. The entire office staff and nurses were so welcoming and friendly and walked me through every step of my visit. The office was clean and organized. Dr. Heimmel was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The treatment he gave me is already working and I’m so grateful. Thank you!!

I knew Dr. Heimmel from another practice and followed him to Eye Care Specialists. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I was getting iritis and uveitis frequently, and my other practice never looked into why. He tested me and diagnosed the problem. I travel to see him because he is worth it. He also did an irridotomy and next will be doing cataract surgery on me.

I was very pleased with the whole experience, beginning with how fast I was scheduled my first appointment, when I arrived I was seen immediately following my usual providement of personal info to a very corteous receptionist, the assistant was just as courteous and informative, throughout the preliminary tests. Then doctor Heimmel came in within a few minutes to check my eyes and explain in detail all of my concerns and questions along with all my options. I felt very confortable with the doctor and the follow up suggestions, his frankness and demeanor was very trusting to me and I'm looking forward to my next visit, which was scheduled within 10 days. The office itself was also very attractive and comfortable!

Me and my mom know Dr. Mark Heimmel for 2 years now and he helped my mom, a vein exploded in the back of her eye and she couldn’t see and he helped her with injections and everything and now he is helping her again. He is very knowledgeable, kind, caring and gives you the right treatment . I would definitely recommend him to anyone, he is just awesome and the whole team is very professional.

I am extremely happy and grateful to Dr. Mark Heimmel for performing cataract surgery on my right eye. Because of Covid I put off having my eye surgery. When I came to see him I couldn’t read the eye chart because the cataract caused me to be legally blind in my right eye. He scheduled my eye surgery in November and immediately following the surgery I was able to see perfectly and without glasses! He was recommended by my friend’s sister. I totally recommend this eye surgeon. Excellent staff as well. If I could rate Dr. Mark Heimmel a 10 score I would!
